Shady Maple Smorgasbord

129 Toddy Dr, East Earl, PA

Shady Maple is the number two tourist attraction in Lancaster County and with good reason.  Their award-winning smorgasbord (buffet) is the largest of them all.  Even so, the Weaver family takes an active role in the business, ensuring that quality is never sacrificed.  In addition to the buffet line, there are stations that will whip up things like seafood, steak, or Asian fare depending on the day of the week.  Although it's difficult, be sure to save room for dessert!  PRO TIP:  Make plans to come here on your birthday and your meal will be FREE (must show ID)!

Check out this fun video by Mike / Strictly Dumpling from his first trip to Lancaster County!

Yoders Restaurant & Buffet

14 South Tower Road New Holland, PA

Located in New Holland, Yoders has been serving the community for over 40 years!  Combining a family farm, country market and Amish style restaurant is a sure recipe for great quality.  Yoders is also well known for their clean restaurant, friendly service and good value too.  You can choose from the menu or try the full buffet or just the sou and salad bar.  Top-quality ingredients can be found in all the dishes served at Yoders, making this one of the best restaurants in Lancaster PA.  While you're there, check out the gift shop or country market where you can find local specialties to take home with you.

Katie's Kitchen

200 Hartman Bridge Rd, Ronks, PA

No list of Amish restaurants in Lancaster PA would be complete without including Katie's Kitchen.  Tour guides from Amish Village and Amish Farm and House regularly refer their guests here for a real Amish experience!  This Amish owned AND Amish operated family restaurant serves authentic Amish cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The Amish ladies working in the dining room will greet you with a smile and help you navigate the menu that has plenty of choices.  They're also famous for their homemade Amish desserts. Although they're relatively new to the restaurant scene (they opened in 2015), as places to eat in Lancaster PA go, this is definitely one of our favorites!

Hershey Farm

240 Hartman Bridge Rd, Ronks, PA

Hershey Farm is a great Amish-style restaurant Smorgasbord located right next door to Sight and Sound Theater. Their PA Dutch style Grand Smorgasbord includes The Grill, Soup, Salad & Gourmet Potato Bar, and a Deluxe Dessert Bar made fresh from their bakery! Before you head out, visit the gift shop and bakery for something to take home.

Plain & Fancy

3121 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird in Hand, PA

How about combining a farm visit with delicious Amish food? Plain & Fancy Farm means more than just a great meal. It’s an essential part of the Amish experience in Lancaster! After your visit, enjoy an authentic farm-to-table Pennsylvania Dutch meal or a tasty American BBQ. You can also order a local, handcrafted beer! There’s also plenty of on-site attractions, like the Amish buggy rides, farmland tour, and Amish Country Homestead.

Dienner’s Country Restaurant

2855 Lincoln Hwy, Ronks, PA

Dienner’s Country Restaurant in Ronks, PA, is the place to go for authentic PA Dutch homecooking any time of the day! This family-owned business was established in 1993 and features authentic Amish dishes the owners themselves enjoyed growing up with. We highly recommend the roast beef in gravy and mashed potatoes!  And the pies!  Definitely save room for a slice, you'll thank us later!

Oregon Dairy Country Restaurant & Buffet

2900 Oregon Pike, Lititz, PA

If you want the ultimate Amish experience for lunch, head over to the Oregon Dairy Country Restaurant & Buffet! Sit at their table and get ready to discover incredible Amish fare with a modern twist. For example, try the Kauffman’s apple butter BBQ chicken or macaroni and cheese with stewed tomatoes. It’s so good you’ll want to order two!

If you want something a little lighter, try the turkey cranberry grill! This great lunch item features a grilled turkey breast covered in melted cheddar cheese and cranberry relish. They also offer a gluten-free menu with a wide selection. On your way out, stop by The Market and discover a variety of fresh local products, as well as high-quality meat and seafood. Don’t forget the homemade baked goods!
