It took twenty years to restore Smithton, and to add all its modern amenities.

The restoration was done with the same kind of hand tools with which the Inn was built, for the sake of authenticity.  Every guest room is big and bright, with a working fireplace, and a sitting area with upholstered chairs and a writing desk.

The beds are something...canopy and four posters, feather beds on request; some with twin size trundles.  Every room has fresh flowers, optional candle lighting, night shirts, refrigeration, and the list goes on and on.
