1- History of the Fulton Theatre

Known as “The Grand Old Lady of Prince Street,” Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA got its start back in 1852. At this time, it was Fulton Hall, a community meeting space. It soon became much more, hosting Vaudeville, films, and theatre. This evolution of the American stage thrives at this cultural landmark in Lancaster County. Considered to be the nation’s oldest operating theatre, it is one of only eight theatres to be named a National Historic Landmark. The Fulton Theatre is also a part of the regional movement, Fulton Opera House Foundation. This vibrant arts organization creates all the productions that appear on stage, serving over 130,000 visitors annually.

  • Parking Lots:  Generally costing around $4/hour, the two closest lots are the Hager Parking Lot (40 N Market St) and Grant St. Parking Lot (37 N Christian St)
