What is the Roots N Blues Festival?

Who would have thought that Lancaster would be the center of blues music and bring to light talented artists? Our quaint town is certainly not on the national radar in the music industry, and yet, it’s where a lot of the magic happens for roots and blues genre. Forbes Magazine even named it on the Top 10 coolest places to visit in America in 2018! The Lancaster Roots N Blues Festival began in 2014 thanks to the work of its director, Rick Ruoff. He set out to build “one of the best festivals in America.” Every February, this weekend-long festival features more than 60 artists on ten different stages. Listen to several music genres such as blues, Celtic, bluegrass, Americana, rock ’n roll, jazz, funk, soul, reggae, and many others! VIP tickets are available if you want to make the most out of your experience.
