The Scratch Bakes adventure began in 2012 when owner Laura Will officially opened her first bakery with nothing but her mother’s Kitchen Aid mixer and a regular oven. It was relocated to the current Ephrata location soon after due to the high demand! On top of serving her now famous cupcakes, Laura and her husband Jason also offer a line of scratch-made soups, salads, sandwiches, and other delicious sides, transforming this sweets haven into a trendy downtown cafe!
