In total, the museum is home to around 100 locomotives and cars, ranging from traditional transport trains to commercially used transport. You’ll also find a wide collection of photographs and displays documenting the history of the railroad in America. Visit Stewart Junction

Visitors with children who may be staying in one of our family-friendly rooms will love looking at the hands-on exhibits in Stewart Junction. Stewart Junction is housed in a recreated 1915-era freight station. Inside are fantastic exhibits and displays that are meant to challenge and also educate the younger visitors to the museum.

A stroll along "Main Street" and Steinman Station is loads of fun.  Stop at the window to learn about the early telegraph system and find out what your name would look like in dots & dashes!  They'll even demonstrate what sending a message would look like.

There are a number of great events aimed at both children and adults at The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. For example, Rails & Ales is a particularly fun event, which featured music, beer, and food trucks.
