New Bed and Breakfast Ephrata PA Suites!

What’s New in 2022?  TWO new Bed and Breakfast Ephrata PA Suites!

Owning a building built in 1763 means there’s always some form of repair or update going on.  We typically schedule renovations during our slow season, wintertime, which is exactly what happened in 2022!  Therefore, we’re excited to announce that we’ve converted the 3rd floor of the B&B back into the configuration when we first purchased the Inn.  Now the third floor has two distinct romantic suites!  The vibe on the 3rd floor is a little different.  With cathedral & gabled ceilings and the original hand-hewn beams dating back to the early 1700s you definitely know you’re in a historic building.  But the furnishings and new bamboo floors are a bit more “boutique-hotel” style.  We’ve given tours to a number of friends and guests to get feedback and the response has been OVERWHELMINGLY positive!  Let us know what YOU think!

The Smithton Gables:

When you reach the 3rd floor landing, the Smithton Gables is the room to your left.  When you open the door, you’re in the living room / dining-work area.  There’s a comfortable leather sofa & chair, large flat screen Smart TV and a desk that looks out the window onto Mainstreet below.  Additionally, desk can also be converted into a full table.

Off of the living room is a set of doors to a private patio, or another doorway to the full galley-kitchen that features heated tile floors,  ceramic cooktop, double sink, full fridge & freezer with filtered water and a countertop oven.

At the end of the kitchen is to door to the the spacious King-bedroom.  There’s a sitting area facing the working fireplace, a large antique dresser and large custom closet.  The lights on each night stands include wireless phone chargers and you simply touch the base to turn lights on and off.

The private bathroom boasts a heated tile floor, an extra-large frameless glass shower with rain shower and hand-held shower heads and a double vanity.

The door to the Smithton Loft is straight ahead on the 3rd floor landing.  Go through that door to the right to enter the gorgeous King-Guest Suite.  There’s an electric fireplace feature with large flat screen Smart TV mounted above.  There’s a fully reclining leather love seat, a desk/table and a cabinet that holds a mini-fridge with separate freezer, a microwave, two drawers and a Keurig machine / coffee station.  The lights on each night stand include USB ports.  There are also easy to access outlets throughout the suite for easy device charging.

The private bathroom features a wonderful 6 foot long soaking tub with shower!!
